Hi DIY, I just moved into a house that has a rough exposed aggregate concrete patio (150 square feet). It's awful to walk around on. I'm considering the following DIY remedies, but if anyone has tried to smooth out aggregate (literary I can almost pick out the rocks - it's original from 1971)...
Yeah not sure what you call it but it’s definitely a pea gravel concrete aggregate…I think there are spray glue products used for loose gravel when repairing a driveway.
The aggregate was exposed after the retarder/pressure washing. It almost seems too much of the concrete was removed, leaving more of the small pebbles exposed above the concrete....thus, a bumpy surface.
