The legendary 100-mile run started back in 1986. One of the original five 100 milers. AC100 has strived to keep the race’s original point-to-point course from Wrightwood to Altadena largely intact while preserving its level of difficulty. It’s one of only 6 point-to-point 100-mile runs in the country. You’ll traverse 100 miles of San Gabriel mountains from elevations of 1,135 to 9,300 feet.

In addition, here is an interactive, 3D terrain map of the 2025 Angeles Crest 100 Mile Race. It is based on the course GPX file downloaded from the AC100 website. The map is initially zoomed in on the climb up Mt. Baden-Powell. To change the view, use the control on the upper right side of the screen. Track and placename locations are approximate and subject to errors.

The Waitlist for the 2026 AC100 is currently closed following the lottery. We will reopen limited waitlist registration later this fall if additional spots become available.

Wilderness Aid Station Teams – Support runners deep in the San Gabriels. Trail Maintenance Volunteers – Join official AC100 Trail Work Days. Eight hours are required for all runners, but extra hands are always welcome! Medical Volunteers – Doctors, nurses, EMTs, and wilderness medics are needed to staff checkpoints and the finish line.

And AC100 Trail Maintenance Volunteers maintain 100 miles of trails and dirt roads for the race and later, the General Public.
