Mayor Patrick Sherek announced the Jarrell City Council has accepted the resignation of Jorge Hernandez as the City Manager. Mr. Hernandez was initially employed as the City Engineer in April 2024 and has served as City Manager since August 2025. Following a professional and respectful transition, the City expects to immediately begin a search for a new permanent City Manager.
